Competitions 2011

Puttluck is about to launch our third competition of 2011, running in conjunction with The PGA Championship at Atlanta Athletic Club, Johns Creek, Georgia, taking place from 11th August to 14th August 2011. It has real prizes to the value of £500, from our sponsors Black Widow!

Please note that Apple is not a sponsor or involved in the Puttluck Competition in any manner.

Black Widow Prizes

The special Competition course in Puttluck, which includes a total of 9 holes, will be unlocked from midnight (GMT) on Thursday 11th August until 23:59 on Sunday 14th August 2011. Everyone that has purchased the full paid version of Puttluck is entitled to enter the competition and play as many times as they wish during this time. It's open to EVERYONE, so give it a go!

Conditions:

  • Players must upload their scores via Game Center (full instructions are provided in the game)
  • Players must complete the 9 holes to post their score on the leader board during the allocated times and date.
  • The winner must send a photo of themselves with the trophy and prizes for us to post on our website.
  • You can enter the Competition at anytime during the 11th - 14th August. Competition closes at 23:59 (GMT) on 14th August 2011.
  • The winner must register their email address, so we can contact them and send them their prizes.
  • Tell your friends!

How it works

The object of the game is to hit the ball into the hole as fewer times as you can during the game. Your score and time is recorded and this will determine the winner. Your score on each hole is added together, giving you your total after the 9 holes played. Your time taken will also be posted - example: 17.0360 (17 = number of shots, 0360 = 360 seconds). As you complete the 9 holes your score will be posted onto Game Center and you'll be able to see all competitors’ scores on the live leader board. Keep an eye on your score as you may slip down the leader board.

You can play the 9 holes and post your score as many times as you like during this period.

The winner will be the player with the lowest score on score board (Game Centre) come Sunday evening at 23:59 (GMT). The winner of Puttluck will be contacted via email to arrange delivery of the prizes.

Prizes

Our sponsors, Black Widow, have provided prizes to the value of £500. The winner will also receive a trophy from Puttluck. As per the terms and conditions, we will require a photo of the winner and we may use this when contacting local press.
